How do I make "Writing Tool" ??? What is a "Texture" v

I don't understand what a "texture" is for "Writing Tool" --- the first item.

Texture is created at a Loom with thread that you make from fibers/wool at a Spinning Wheel.

I mean first you have to get the recipes for the things you want to make. You can check if you have the recipe with the recipe browser (default keybind being f2).

You can also get some textures you could use by mining the walls in the cat area under Yowyn.

Yeah, pretty sure they should mean "textiles," really. Just another bad Engrish translation. Hopefully those rough spots eventually get smoothed out. The English script is rough in this game. Lots of weird translations, misspellings, and inconsistencies. In one of the cutscenes triggered by the two NPCs who arrive after your initial group of three, an NPC's name is spelled in at least two different ways. The bad translations also make it tough to follow.
