Kings beds are relatively easy to make if you want to go through the effort of making them better then what you can get with tickets. You can steal a crown from Mysilia itself right next to the actual bed itself. There is probably easier ways of acquiring it but it's a respawnable crown source so yea.
So much Carpentry...
There are 3 crowns to pickpocket in the thieves guild treasure room
Not true for higher level Nefias. I consistently make 20 to 30k on Level 200 nefias and it takes less than a day to run through it, kill all the mobs and boss (the more evolved enemies you find the more loot) and teleport back to base to sell the loot. It is absolutely impossible to make 30k from fishing in a day by turning fish into flakes and making wine. I know that because I've spent an entire year in-game following this fishing guide: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2135150/discussions/0/595134572710173741/ and the most I've ever obtained with fishing is 400k a month by optimizing it as much as I can.
Passive and semi-passive income such as beekeeping, fishing, furniture production are good early and mid-game methods of making money. Nefia outcompetes them in the end-game.
If you grind up your music stat you can makes tons of money from high difficulty party quest. at 5000 fame, a high level harvest quest will net you up to 4k in two hours or so if you bring more than asked for. A no farmer honey farm might net you 2k every 2-3 days, but a fully dedicated plot of land with tons of farmers will racks up way more passively.
And of course if you dedicate time to fighting, then Nefias and war quests will racks you tons of money too.
for me at 5000+ fame with advance license the highest nefia i can find is level 65
i think i'll stay there for a while
i'm not ready to go to that level, let me be carefree
i can't imagine the tax
5000 fame = lvl50 nefias,
so about 20000 fame for lvl 200 nefias I guess, for 40k oren as fame taxes per month.
I think at that point you just stop paying your taxes, murder any guards on sight and rather invest in incognito spells and scrolls if you ever need to go buy/sell in towns.
Oh well yea, considering that Nefia can theoretically scale infinitely when you uncap your fame there is a certain point where it just starts making absurd amounts of money. But I'd assume anyone who is that far in the game likely already knows most of the money making methods and can make their own informed decision on what's most valuable to them.
Also hey, that's my fishing guide lol <3
Nah I'm at 24k fame and the tax I have to pay is 27k. The resident/faith tax can almost cover the cost. Then I pay them 20k extra for 20 more gold bars. That's just 2 nefias worth of money.
But I do nefia for the gear. It's pretty much my source of life skills level. For example I have +60 in farming skill from the gear, +150 pickpocket skill (can nap the snowman), +50-60 in most crafting skill, +80 memorization skill for a good sleep, etc.
Is it a straight line equation?
Also, sending you a friend request would love to pick your brain about a few things on Elin, if you don't mind!
Great guide, thanks for making it!
Thank you very much, felt like it'd be a waste to just do it myself and not catalog it somewhere.
So yeah. I just do dungeons. Having 40 in fishing (the level you need for whales to start showing up) doesn't make up the difference in the slightest.
Most of my fishing is for bonito to get my ally's stats over 100 with my cooking skillz.
Also Nefia don't really scale indefinitely. After nefia 50 they circle back around. And you get putit bosses in nefia 60. The loot remains the same, just the dungeons get easier. So you don't scale up to rooms of Chaos Kings or anything.
The newly added enemies are actually low level. Around 20 or so, which means you can actually see the changes easily for mid game players. But high level content is basically benched. Technically, the highest level of content is wars since all enemies scale as the rounds go up.
