as the title says, want to level up my cooking, and see instant ramen as a level 1 option so wanted to try it,

Raw rice/Wheat milled with Bag of salt = Pot of noodle

You can harvest Bags of Salt from beach tiles, and occasionally underwater in other tiles. You need to have (your Pick's Hardness + 3/2 * your Mining skill >= 35) to gather them. Copper, Slate, Marble, Diorite, and Basalt are all hard enough to mine it with 1 Mining.
