Does selling things not on shipping bin does not give gold bar?

As far as I know the only way to get gold bars from selling is if you sell from a shipping bin.

Selling to vendors directly or using the sales tag doesn't.

selling things to tourist is good to make additional money, and you could use it to pay more taxes that gets you more gold bars in return.

the only way i know how to get gold bars is by selling in the shipping bin, paying extra taxes,running dungeon / tiles to find extra chest, doing quest can give you some to. Mining dungeon walls can result in finding random gold bars.

You can also claim/pickpocket chests and safes in towns to gain platinum coins and gold bars with a good probability. thoses do respawn regularily.

id say both are valid option to be honest i dont really think that much about it. and before i know it i got a decent amount of gold bars.

Particularly the Safes that you find in banks and in the Thieves Guild. Conveniently, the Thieves Guild vault and the Derphy bank have no witnesses to stop you.
