Fireproof Trunk - which thread?

I just unlocked the Trunk recipe and it states that its fireproof. But when I use silk thread for crafting the finished product does not have that parameter.

Is there a way to obtain alternative threads to make fireproof fabric?

Try making it out of Plastic.
If you have any of those unburnable garbage bags (the white ones) you can smash them using a Hammer tool to produce Plastic Fibers, which you can turn into Thread.

I prefer sturdy boxes made out of pearl boards from breaking down end of dungeon chests.
