Why does the microwave blow up?
I'm just trying to make some eggs :mhneigh:

That's just the risk you run when trying to microwave an egg.

Don't wanna deal with explosion risk?
Place the eggs in an actual hot spring, and it'll cook them.

So is this always a problem with Hot Spring Egg, or is it nullified if you have enough Cooking for the recipe? And does Control Magic or Magic Manners prevent you from exploding the surrounding terrain?

You can use some Ticket's for Olivia to pick up the Geysers and bring them back to your land, plop them in a body of water and enjoy a hotspring at home.

Bonus points, hotspring water almost instantly hatches fertilised eggs at a +2 Bonus. (You still need an incubator for +3)

On a semi serious note if you go to your kitchen IRL and try to microwave a whole raw egg the egg will just explode.

It's based on skill, if your skill is below the level of the recipe it has a chance to fail, and failures include exploding microwaves or fires.
