So I guess it'd be through that?
Or maybe you could speed it up a little by beating it up on a gallows or something?
It seems to be tied to how many times it gets that shine of light from leveling up.
The thing that happens when you get that "gained experience" thing, I'm not sure how to describe it.
Frankly, I'm not sure how to get livestock to level it up faster.
I really thought strong milk would shortcut it a bit.
Actually had the same idea right after I made a post, I started stationing training dummies in a "x-o-x" formation on my ranch, so the only space they can be at is between the dummies, increasing the chance of triggering the attack. Still, it's only good for when you are at the base, because once you leave the location the NPC, understandably, get phased out of existence.
Wish there was an actual way for some consistent gains.
If they weren't livestock they'd at least be getting "exp" from the slow trickle of skill EXP from job-related stuff.
Though while you're there, I guess you could "diversify" the training dummy exp if you were to teach them Bow/Magic Device skills and give them a bow/cane to whack the dummies, too.
I mean, teaching skills to livestock might be a bit too much...
Though something that'd be even MORE "too much" would be using Secret Experience of Kumiromi on them, haha.
Though, I'm actually not sure if that actually counts as adding experience, or if it just gives them feat points as a separate sort of thing.
Oh, that's actually a great idea, thanks for the tip.
Okay, so, distributed the bows/canes/boomerangs to every pet, the small bastards put the bows into the chest for some reason.
But, just the bows?
They held onto the canes and boomerangs?
But, I'm really not sure.
I have, like, a Farmer who's carrying around a boomerang and a crossbow, and they're not putting it away.
Would restricting shared chests from accepting weapons do anything?
