Best god to worship?
Any recommended gods for whatever reason? Or should I just go stats that fit my combat style?

Kumiromi: You want money. Grind that farming and make millions. Ideally you switch to Kumiromi AFTER grinding farming, when you are ready to actually cash in on that 50% price bonus, he won't really help you to level it up.

Opatos: Ditch him after you get his weapon, his faction bonuses are trash. The weapon can make someone into the ultimate Tank by doubling their HP, and his god pet is particularly strong with it (gravity+earthquake, and the earthquakes apply the gravity). She's also designed mainly for carrying stuff, once you teach her the weightlifting skill. Both the HP and Earthquake on the weapon are non-faction.

Itzpalt: If you are a spellcaster and value your own damage most of all, Itzpalt is your final god. The exile pet is, barring ridiculous equipment, the strongest damage dealer in the game.

Mani: Ditch him after getting his weapon. The Android is the theoretical best damage dealer in the game if given insane enough equipment. The shotgun is basically free as it has no faction effects at all. The ring (which does have faction stuff) is mid so you aren't losing that much.

Ehekatl: luck is trash, the weapon is doubly trash without her, but the Black Cat is an extremely effective debuff-specialist with good damage and the ability to add a minor extra effect to any loot that drops, including inside chests (not loot already on the ground or bought). Only take her for her cat, and then leave.

Jure: Ditch her after getting her weapon. The Defender is the best healer in the game, and the Holy Lance is an EXTREMELY effective weapon that loses almost nothing of importance by leaving her faction.

Lulwy: As with mani, the bow is free with no faction effects. Her armor however is actually pretty strong. If you do NOT want to use Ride (skill), she is the best god to settle on last for almost all characters. With Ride though she's kind of not worth it, especially because her special skill will hurt you instead of helping. Black Angel is a strong DPS, but not nearly as strong as Exile or Android.

Kizuami: Weird choice. Give his god weapon to your party healer to buff everyone's damage substantially. Kind of good for anyone. God pet sucks.

Horome: Executioner or Wraith characters that use weapon-based attacks will like being able to regen Mana (ie health) with every attack. Makes Fairy Executioners in particular nigh-unkillable. Otherwise trash, especially the god pet. Misaki in Nefu Villiage does the same thing but better.

Yevan: Basically a worse Kizuami. Weapon is focused on buffing the team, but only does so against certain enemy types instead of everything. Pet also buffs the team, but only physical attributes and is a mid-tier healer. I don't really see any good use cases for this god

I disagree with jure, her stats bonus is pretty nice, and sure it sucks with the prayer uses stamina, HOWEVER, ♥♥♥♥ the great race of yith and their live steal attacks, and thar prayer has saved my ass far more times than i want to admit. especially when i teleport to the other side of the map to cry a bit because the yith had spiral king friends.

Jure grants Will, Endurance, Regeneration, Meditation, Anatomy, Cooking, Magic Device, Magic Capacity. None of those are stats anyone really needs to stack except Endurance, and Opatos would be the better choice for that

Prayer of Jure is alright if you don't have decent magic, though you should really just use her Defender in that case and let him do the healing. Lay on Hands (paladin only) is also nice, but once again the Defender can do that for you as well, even if you don't follow Jure yourself.

Someone should let Putit in Amber know about this lol

On hit effects work fine, but yeah the attribute bonuses on putit are completely unusable. There is no ranged equip slot.

@Dracon: Fox Maid just has the best scaling, but Defender is a great pick for support. If you want a pure tank, you could also go with Golden Knight which has the added bonus of being able to haul your stuff.

Most of them have a faction bonus. Jure's weapon for example negates fear, gives +15 LP (Why is it the only God item not giving %?) And extra damage to undead

The question still remains...

The answer is no. As far as I know once you get the weapon you've essentially "maxed" worshiping them (at least for material gains). Someone mentioned that further offerings to a god just trains your faith skill but I cannot confirm nor deny this.

Making offerings while your piety is capped (you feel a sense of oneness with your god) trains the faith skill. Maybe just making offerings in general, but I know for sure it does it while capped.

I sacrificed thousands of mushroom seeds to kumiromi while I was grinding my farming skill. It's a big part of why I have 77 faith.

yes you can continue to donate for faith improvement.
Faith skill getting higher lets the god feat you are granted to continue to scale. No idea if it has a max but it can keep going as long as you keep raising your Faith more.

How many donations are needed to get the rewards? I've donated a decent bit of alcohol to the wind god, but if I'm going to need like over a thousand I'm going to have to find a better solution lol

You need to reach a minimum level of piety(which is capped by faith skill) to start getting a chance during each prayer to get the reward. I think it was 15 for the first, 30 for the second reward but it probably differs by God - and it's still a chance only(that scales with more piety). Also each God has different offerings they accept - some are easier to get (Mani will accept powdered drugs that you can make by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, Opatos accepts ores) and some are annoying(Horome the Fluffy Tail Mommy only wants rods :<). Each type of offering also has different value and higher value offerings increase faith faster(as well as taking over altars of other Gods by offering a high enough value item at them when you worship a God different from the one on the altar). All Gods accept corpses, but their value is low and scales with corpse weight, which is miniscule in most. Piety is an invisible value but there is a mod that shows it whenever you give offerings.

Can you share the bonuses you get from your feat? I am curious how strong they get at that high faith.

Fox maid's fluffyness aside, I can't say she is really better than Defender when both of them are lv31.
Mine keeps stealing my aggro while being way less tanky due to having worse equip, often leading into situations where Defender has to resurrect her.

The reason is because the maid start weaker but gets better for each tail she get from experience (Life +15, Speed +5, Dark Resist +3, Magic Resist +1, Holy Resist +1 per tail, maxed at lvl50 for 200 Life)

Life Points is better than life%.
My personal experience is that it's only true for Base Life and Mana value. Additional Mana and Life from items, are only flat health and mana. I had a helmet that gave me +6 mana, replaced it and my max mana diminished by... 6 ( I had 120+6 on my character sheet). However, adding the feat that increase mana by 5 increased it to 125, and my max mana pool increased by 20 or so.

She takes Long Swords as well. Not that that's terribly convenient, either.

Ah yeah, forgot about those. Unfortunately they seem to drop less often than rods.
