Meat production
Been trying to get a healthy supply of Putit marbled meat, figured ranching would work but my snow putits can't seemingly be butchered or anything. The eggs and cashmere are useful, but is there any way to obtain meat from my ranched animals?

If not, unfortunate.

At this time?
No, there's no butchering of your ranched animals.
Just eggs and milk, and sheared products for some.
And, the milk isn't that useful for cooking, since it doesn't seem to have any food stats.

But unfortunately, no meat.

What were you planning?

If you alt click (i think i mean middle mouse, it opens a context menu for actions and stuff) them, you can attack them, they have a chance to drop there corpse's, and yes they will hate you for killing them, but they come back regardless.

Thinking about it, if you have a resident with nursing, and If it effect's livestock, i could see this being a way to grind meat and anatomy skill's, but maybe im wrong, i do apologize in advance if this is the case, as i have yet to try this myself.

Don't you use milk for baking sweets?

Milk is used in some cooking, and breeding i think.

If you give/throw milk at a baby livestock(up to 2 time's as far as i can tell, they become adult's after the second milk), it grow's in skill based on your taming skill, and i would like to say the source of the milk matter's as well, but i don't know about that last part.

Taming start's off pretty weak at the start, but can get pretty crazy at high level's in term's of making super livestock, at least from what i have heard.

You can substitute Gelatin in place of milk, at least for Mousse and Flan.

Cream Stew specifies Milk, which is kind of lame because Milk doesn't seem to have any food stats, so it's kind of an empty ingredient that doesn't add anything to the dish.

Using Gelatin for the desserts is nicer, because aside from store-bought gelatin having some CHA and CHA Potency, you can custom-create your own Gelatin from grinding two Jelly-type corpses at a Millstone.
Can get some nice STR and STR Potency if you use marbled jelly corpses to make it.

Marbled putit has velvety so when you mix it into a gel for cooking various things it's just extra stats on something you were using anyway, gelatin is very useful.
