goods not being restocked

mushroom beer i have for sale isn't being restocked even though i have a goods sign there and some shared brewing barrels designated for mushrooms with a stockpile sign, am i missing something?

The mushrooms might be getting put into a different container that either has the same or higher priority then the barrels. I'm unfamiliar with true automation in the game but from what I've heard other people talking about problems like this usually arise from container priority (meaning what container or spot your townspeople with prioritize over others) which you can change somewhere in the container settings.

the mushrooms are definitely getting put into the barrels, i set them to highest priority and to only accept mushrooms, i check on them and they are making the beer but i have to replace the shop manually or put them in the shipping box if i want to make money

Are the beers you're selling placed out in the world, with a sales tag on them, or are they in a container that's marked everything inside as for sale?

Because a restock sign does not restock containers, it only does it for sold out goods placed out in the world.

Also, just to be sure, the for sale things and the barrels need to be affected in the same "Goods Stock sign" area.

out in the world i put them on tables, will try moving the barrels into the same zone

i moved the goods stock sign to cover the barrels as well as the tables and it worked thanks
