Disable auto-casting abilites

I found several abilites(spells?) that have a certain number of uses like "poison arrow" and "hero". When attacking my character randomly auto-casts these abilites. Is there a way to turn this off so I can save them when I need them?

Go into your character sheet where you can see your stats and skills and go to the strategy tab. Enabling the details will show you additional options, like only using spells in your hotbar or not, or only spells that you have favorited. Setting auto-combat type to fighter or archer should make it so you only attack with your weapon, so you can try that as well.
