Love Potion Testing
Has anyone played around with love potions? For example, after spamming them around town at people, I eventually had a guard drop a fertilized egg. I hatched it and voila, baby copy of that guard. Unfortunately love potions seem brutally rare from the drug dealer even with save scumming, so I havent had a chance to test it further.
So my questions:
1) Does the pet born from the egg have the same skills/spells as the original?
2)Can you use this method on monsters or powerful NPCs? How about on unique NPCs? I was able to get unique NPCs to drop milk and eggs, but they were unfertilized eggs the few NPCs I tried.
3) Does the milk the strong NPCs drop make any baby pet extra strong?
4) What other fun can be had with love potions(Besides cooking them into food to give to NPCs)?
5) What does CAT do/mean when its one of the secret blue ingredients in food?

You can buy bread mixed with aphrodisiac or succubus's bug from the witch in Mysilia quite often. It's more useful to use it for recruiting NPC in combination with an engagement ring. Everything else you ask can be found in the wiki so read those. I'm not well versed in pet breeding and nothing is certain with recent changes. The short answer for 5 is dev loves cats and not dogs.

I'm not sure on everything but:

1) It should be similar to the parent. I dunno how it reacts if the parent has changes to their skillset or AI or Class via Gene Engineering, though.

2) I dunno about using it on hostiles, but Unique NPCs fertilized eggs will always hatch into chickens. Nothing special about them, they won't be, like, super-chickens that know the Unique NPC's spells or anything.
Some exceptions exist, I think.
Like, Little Ones can drop a fertilized egg if you use a syringe of Heaven on them or something, but that just hatches into a chicken.
Also, I think Rodwyn, the witch baker in Mysilia, isn't actually considered a unique NPC, even though she's got her own unique appearance and is always named Rodwyn.
Unless that was changed.

3) Yeah, the strength of the source of the milk is a big factor in its effectiveness when given to babies. Milk from high-level and highly trained sources provide big boosts.

4) You can drink it to maybe make yourself lay an egg, I guess.
But of course you're unique, so it'd just hatch into a chicken.

5) CAT means you'll receive -5 Karma for eating the food that has that trait.

It's not about being unique or not. If a NPC has big "hollow" brackets around their name, then you get a chicken when their egg hatches. If a NPC has smaller "solid" brackets around their name, then you can "clone" them through eggs just fine. All adventurers and god pets can be cloned AFAIK, my friend got a fertilized egg of Mesherada recently and that hatched into a new Mesherada variant that was also added to the adventurer list.

Thanks! I'll have to keep experimenting with it. I'll try with bosses too to see if at they at least drop milk and if it gives bigger stats.
