PSA: If you find a broom don't sleep on it.

A few days ago I found a broom discarded as brooms count as Junk. The thing is its not worthless these things are technically tools. You can clean up debris and stains with it (much like your residents with the Cleaning job)
That's not what the PSA is for.

No, instead what I JUST learned about the broom is that cleaning up debris with the broom levels up your trap disarm

Yeah, something funny is, if you sweep up stains while Exhausted, you'll get hurt.
This creates a tiny blood stain, that you can sweep up.
Which creates another stain. Which you can clean up, and on, and on.

EZPZ Trap Disarm training until you're about to die.

Gotta get that feat XP. Also traps are a good source of stuff like microchips and IC chips if you have the scavenger perks and are in need of them.

I always thought manually cleaning stuff is stupid because eventually I would make a mess again but holy cow, now I'm gonna clean like theres no tomorrow !

Yeah after realizing this I wish I had maxed out Scavenger earlier.

As a side note, found it pretty hilarious that I got "chessboard" from a trap once.

Heh, might be interesting to have a Time Waster trap, which when activated causes game time to advance, with the associated effects on hunger, tiredness, decay, base stuff, etc.
