I think i missed something on the Wiki and hope someone can help clue me in.
You need a potion of ether anitbody.
These are probably most easily bought at the flying casino of Fortune Bell, which can be reached from Palmia, via a teleporter in the lower right portion of town. (You'll know it's near because you'll see mascots with balloons)
The casino prize exchange counter sells them for 3,000 casino chips.
It's probably easiest to either play the basketball minigame very well and earn all the chips like that, or to play that just until you get 1,000 chips, and then save-scum blackjack to get the rest.
Other places are the ecopo merchant in Yowyn, which requires 4,200 ecopos (you'd have to throw away a LOT of garbage for that many) and also Miral and Garokk's Workshop over in the eastern snowfields south of Noyel, where a potion costs 10 small medals.
Edit: but also, if this is your first ether disease ever, you should receive an ether antibody and a letter about ether disease in the mail.
The Ether mutations can only be cured with a Ether Anti-Body potion. You can acquire these through a few sources.
1. Very rarely through getting random potions (I've yet to have this happen though and I'm over 3000 days on a save).
2. At Miral's workshop south of Noyel (North east side of the map in the snow) you can buy 1 for 10 Small Medal's each although from my experience this isn't really worth it.
3. Wishing for it. When you get a wish you can wish for Antibody and get some. The amount I got was 5. This is determined by your wish strength (the amount of black cats saliva you have).
4. (Probably the best way to get them) Go to the casino called the Fortune Bell. You can get there from a teleporter in the south-west portion of Palmia. There you can buy a potion for I believe 3k chips. There are two ways of getting chips effectively. The fastest if you can get good at it is the basketball game. The next best is probably blackjack (which is incredibly easy to save scum if you want). Get like 20k chips for anti-bodies and you'll never need to worry about it again.
5. You can buy an anti called like a Syringe of Ether Solvent at Little Garden (Directly west from Meadow) that gets rid of 1 Ether mutation (the most recent one added). This requires influence however which requires your party to be capable of taking down Big Daddies.
Im gaining some traction but still super new and try to only selective search for a few things because so much of the enjoyment comes from being like "oh, Sh#@ what a wonderful addition to this little game"
Curing the mutation would be the same as removing the buildup of ether.
Though there are different strengths of cures, if you were wanting to get rid of a sudden terrible mutation while not wiping out a previous one you're getting a benefit from.
Basically, imagine a point system*. You gain ether points over time, and every 100 points (so at 100, 200, 300 etc) you gain a new symptom. Using an Ether Solvent removes around 60 points, so if you're sitting at 305, you'll go down to 245 and remove the most recent symptom, but your only 55 points away from getting a new one. If you're at 370, it won't be quite enough to remove anything at all. Ether antibodies remove 200 points, so they always get rid of 2 symptoms if you have them.
On the other hand if you want to roll a new symptom because you want one of the beneficial ones, Solvent is a good choice because it only removes 1 (at most) and lets you try again a bit sooner. It's also easy to get a lot of Ether Solvent once you are reasonably strong, antibodies are potentially harder to come by unless you use macros to "cheat"
*the point numbers are made up to best fit with my observations
