I mean, "stacking" is just offering a stack of things instead of 1 at a time or all at once.
So, like Ctrl+Click a pile of 100 of the same Corpse and selecting... like 10 instead.
Obviously you can't do this with stuff like Swords or Rods, since they don't stack together.
Since there's a sort of cap on how much piety a single batch of an offering can give, it's best to offer in batches below that cap, so you aren't wasting offerings for less piety.

For example Wine that weighs 0.2s each. A stack of 30 Wine will provide the maximum piety without penalty. A stack of Ore weighing 1.5 each however you would not want to sacrifice more than 10 units at a time because otherwise you go over the weight limit.
Corpses use a different formula. For multiples, either 30 units or 30s is the target.
The only other exception are deciphered ancient books. No more than 6 books at a time.
