Stamina is determined by the total level of your Skills and your Vigor stat. The easiest way to increase stamina is to increase any skill you don't have many levels in.
According to the wiki, total SP is determined by vigor, endurance and the sum of all skills the player has. So I guess level up a low level skill for some quick max SP.
Spamming music is great because music levels very fast and doesn't require very much input (once people stop stoning you in the face), and spamming music party quests generates lots of platinum coins to which you can use to help increase the learning potential of everything else for those skills to level up without as much effort.
i usually do tent to go in the negative of stamina through, before sleeping...
but i think around a 100 is a soft cap that makes the process really slow...
on the other hand through being Tried is kind of important to be able to become able to go to sleep, i mean how else would we gain the Recipe Dream or the Magic Dream, reliably?
you sleep way more from exhaustion then being sleepy in game from what i have experienced...
There are also a few actions that consume stamina, if your character has access to them. Succubi can use Dream Larva, and worshipers of Lulwy, Jure, Itzpalt, Kizuami, or Horome can use their god-granted ability.
