Easy way to get bait?

I've been turning the random offals and such into bait but is there a faster way? Or somewhere to buy it?

Uh you can use farmed veggies, berries any thing that is edible I think but flowers... I think there is exploity war to break mats down to bait with hammer but I don't do hammer exploits because they get patched out one day lol

A popular method is from mining the walls of "Machinarium" Nefias to get Scrap.
Then you turn the Scrap into Nails at the Tinker's Table.
Then you drop the Nails on the ground and use a Hammer to smash them into Bones.

You can turn the Bones into Bait.

Or you can go a little further and use a Millstone to grind the bones into Bone Dust.
And then, drop the Bone Dust on the ground and use a Hammer to smash them into Corpses.
And you can turn those Corpses into Bait.

Hammer flowers into leaves, made of food
Use the food leaves to make makeshift arrows, made of food
Put the food arrows in a compost bin to get fertilzer
Hammer the fertilizer to get corpses
Make bait from corpses

This has already been heavily nerfed, the yield was dropped by like 75-80%, but it's still pretty effective. I doubt it will be nerfed again.

Even after the nerf it's still the fastest way by far to manually get Bait it seems. The second fastest would be the going into a Nefia and mining/digging for scrap and turning that into bait via a similar method.

I visit this other player's home that has a bajillion mushrooms ready for harvest. I grab what I can (training my Gathering in the process), and process that into bait.
