However, if you experience several mutations in a row... either you have one or several ether item equiped ( it increase the accumulation rate ), or there is an ether wind event (tremendously increase the accumulation rate when outside). If that's the case, either go inside a dungeon or ask for shelter to any innkeeper.
Finally there is a race choice that is twice resistent to ether accumulation.
It's annoying that i don't know how an ether wind looks like in Elin. I never saw one
however, potions of cure mutation seem plentiful, I have stumbled across several already in just a couple hours of exploring dungeons
IMO, Eleas is the most 'new player' friendly class of the batch, not the one with less food consumtion ( which in fact reduce your growth rate )
- Resistance to ether = less mutations, immune to ether damage
- start with magic capacity skill ( allow you to train mana deprival resistance, which is a skill availbale only though mage guild normally )
- halved mana deprival damage, so you can quickly end up being able to keep spamming spells despite having hundreds of negative mana
Yeah, same. I am going for one of the fox-kin race in this one, and Eleas were absolute monsters as mages. Spam heal spell before going to bed until you hear the low life sound, and after doing it enough time, not only your heal spell gets OP, you also get allowed to go to -1500 mana without dying, which trains the magic capacity even more lol
Ranged weapons at the moment don't do anything when held (in terms of increasing resistances, stats, ether disease, etc.
