You get stat bonuses normally reserved for followers of a god while following none, which may end up a better deal.
You do not suffer ANY penalties for abandoning a faith, which makes it MUCH easier to try them all.
You acumulate favor faster, which makes it easier to grind them all out for companions and weapons (which do not disappear when you abandon a faith).
It's a piece of amber that's a throwing weapon with the always returns modifier and also it does fire, ice, lightning, and physical damage all at once. Definitely makes me feel semi-godly.
I think you can find it while chopping down any tree, but the withered ones are a higher rate.
Back to the topic, you can kinda craft your own 'Demigod' with mods such as thoses who unlock all feats, thoses that unlock all races, and thoses that let you change the amount of XP/feat point you gain. I used that to create my curent character as a celestial fox despite it being impossible for now.
