How do I increase my carry weight?

I saw a post somewhere saying if i walk around burdened it increases carry weight. I'ts not happening. Any ideas?

Do you have the Weightlifting skill? According to wiki, it's taught at Tinker's Camp and Noyel trainers. I know Pianist starts with it for sure, unsure about other classes/races.

Also always go over your carryweight to get the burden debuff. That is how you raised exp for it.

i believe it's tied to the strength stat, and weightlifting lets you carry more.

If you have not done it yet, you can put multiple boxes in your inventory, and store stuff that way. This helps your expeditions last longer AND it levels up that skill.
