how to spend feat points from followers?

Sorry my bad I was thinking of other training options. Most likely the feat they want might cost more than 2 feat points.

I've read that's what you use genes for. Those sometimes drop from enemies and cost the feat points. Haven't delved into it myself, as there's different qualities of the genes, so I'm waiting for something better. There's also wiki (ylvapedia (.) wiki) for most things you might encounter during the game, so check it out when in doubt. Also there's discord server with active community and dedicated place for questions.

+1, im also curious, i see they have a gene slot and a feat slot but im not getting how they use them, do i need a machine or something?

I have not tried it yet but I have heard something about needing the stetoscope to customize their stats. The NPC from the puppy cave sells one I think.

Some one already answered this. Ally feat points are used with genes which you get from monster drops. You need a gene machine, which is bought from nino at the tinkerer's camp.

You can get a free power generator from truce grounds to power up the gene machine, it weighs quite a bit so train weight lifting before going for it.

i dont have the mahine but i think i got it, i saw that genes say that need x ammount of feat point, so you need a follower with x ammount of free feat points to use the gene, for exanple my little girl has 10 feat points and a a gene that uses 8 so i can only use that 1 gene and another that has 2, unless i get more feat points on them
