How to get more charges of spells?

im playing as the warrior but while sleeping i sometimes get spells but they only get 5-10 charges and then when those are used up they disappear. i seen screenshots of people having like 1500 charges how is that?

is it possible to get permanent spells? when i check magic shops the spells there seem to have a few charges too, can you replenish/ increase the charges?

memory skill should increase how many stocks you get per charges you get per read.

Spells aren't permanent in Elin/Elona. You get a limited number of casts each time you read a spellbook, which has a limited number of reads before breaking. The number of casts you get is based on your memorization skill. You can occasional get a spell through sleeping, but it's really not enough if you plan on spellcasting regularly.

There is a feat you can get, dream waker (typo of walker?), that guarantees some spell charges every time you sleep. Otherwise you get charges by reading spell books (literacy skill governs which you can read).

People with 1.5k charges simply grinded for them or otherwise gathered them through playing.
