Recommended Request Types:
Defeat a certain number of any monsters (Requirements: None)
The only thing you need to watch out for with these requests is the time limit, and they can be completed alongside other requests. Even if your combat power is low, you can finish them by hunting goblins in the wild—there’s no real difficulty here.
Concerts (Requirements: Music skill; Recommendation: Some defense capability)
Your music skill level divided by 10 roughly equals the concert level you can successfully complete. Early on, you’ll often get pelted with stones, so if people nearby are visibly displeased with your music, try a new location. Once your music skill reaches 40, people stop throwing stones. At this point, your only problem is obtaining enough points in time, but even if you fail, you still earn some tips, and the slight fame loss isn’t a big deal. Turn on auto-continuous music skill; once you start playing, you can take a nap and wait until the concert ends.
Harvesting crops (Recommendation: Gathering skill, Weightlifting skill) This is a good request to earn money safely from the start. Ignore the small crops and only harvest the large ones. The more you turn in, the higher the reward. Any crops left on you when you complete the request might be confiscated, so while you can bring them outside the request map, it’s not particularly recommended. The mission map also has plenty of animals and wells.
Clearing monsters (Requirements: Combat ability)
Just transport to the mission map and clear all the monsters to complete the request. Since leaving the map results in failure, it’s a bit harder than “Defeat a certain number of any monsters.” Early on, you might even struggle with clearing field monsters, leading to potential failure.
Delivering items (Recommendation: Cooking)
As long as the NPC needs items you already have, can cook, or buy in town, it’s just simple running errands.
Delivery/Escort (Requirements: None)
Always keep an eye on the remaining time. Some requests can’t be completed without long-distance transport methods (yes, unlike in Elona, you’re allowed to use these here). Deliver an item or escort a person from one place to another. If you’ve already visited the target location, it’s straightforward—you can use fast travel to avoid any encounters and complete it easily. If traveling manually, escort missions almost always include assassins, making them very challenging if your combat power isn’t high yet. These missions consume a lot of in-game time and aren’t ideal for collecting specific town tickets. For delivery requests, if you really want the item, consider abandoning the mission for 15 karma and keeping the item for yourself.
Defeating specific monster races (Requirements: Combat power to defeat the required race)
Unless the request is to kill something like chickens, pigs, or goblins (creatures you can easily find), don’t take it. Although there’s no time limit, you can only accept up to 5 requests at a time, and these often just take up your limited slots.
find rock cut rock shape rock sell rock.
Oh neat, where does one go to turn on auto-continuous music? I knew that HAD to be a feature somewhere.
Also, a tip if you do want to take crops with you for the farming requests, I think it helps to split them into individual units, since they seem to have a chance of confiscating any given stack.
The gold bricks you can mine (steal) from thief's guild in Derphy can be turned into statues that are worth 100-350 each, even with trash sculpting skill ( but it is really time consuming In game)
You'll need fertilizer to make it so make a compost bin as well, put some fresh food in there to get fertilizer.
If you're desperate, turning soil or grass into basic floors doesn't cost any stamina (other than the original collection) and gets 3 orens per unit.
If you've unlocked Vernis and have a steel pickaxe and good mining skill, you can head down and start mining gems like onyx and lapis. Takes a bit but will get you like 4-6k per run. Don't need to do any processing to the gems either.
When exploring, if you come across an altar in the wild, you can actually grab the pillars around the altar. They're worth a decent chunk of change each.
When exploring nefias, if you have the weight capacity for it, try to bring back the exquisite boss chest to sell as well. If you can't bring it back, at least disassemble it after looting it for pearl planks, which can be used for valuable crafts.
If you don't mind taking a hit to your karma, grab a pickaxe and start disassembling valuable walls in some cities. If you've unlocked the thieves' guild in Derphy, or found the way through the sewers in one of the brothels (there's a pool in one of em with an entrance), you can find a room made of gold walls. The bricks will net you like 30-40 orens each.
If you find ruins type dungeon make sure you loot the scraps like scrap copper and other from the wall.
If you're heavy miner like having 15+ mining skill go rampage on maps and destroy silver ore and metal ore, then make it into ingot with furnance (you can vandalize city blacksmith for furnance and anvil), find mineral ore like lapis ore, onyx ore, emerald ore etc, easy sell those gems for easy cash.
Do easy quest like killing certain number of random monster (not killing certain monster), home defense, settlement defense, those easy stuff to regain your karma.
Before you invest in anything, go to merchant guild and apply for membership and before you vandalize stuff go to thief guild for membership, being a member of guild will net you salary.
If you have skill in music just go and play music in crowded area in random settlement (more than 5 NPC around) they will throw you some change if you're at least decent, wear good armor because some NPC will throw stuff at you and being pelted with stuff hurt.
Selling DNA, for advanced player that already have great equipment, DNA depending on the type of monster will yield massive gain, be careful because evolved/elite monster is vicious and could kill your character easily if not prepared.
If you have large weight limit make sure to pick the ornament treasure chest it sold for decent price like 250 .
Find job that make good use of your character proficiency aka it's highest skill will do wonder, if you're a farmer make sure to keep an eye on your settlement fertility number the higher the more yield your crops.
Hearts are worth quite a bit.
