Move(Abandon Base

Is it possible to move or Abandon the base/Hearthstone? I feel like I'm more running around paying Land taxes than actually doing quests, so I want to be at least closer to a city.

Plus, is there anything I can do against the heaps of trash that stat appearing around my base?

I don't know about moving the base, but I know you can buy a tax box and move it to your base to save yourself the travelling time. Instructions on how to do it are available in the Taxes section of this guide:

Like, automatically? Not sure about that, I just put them in the shipping box for disposal.

you need recruits resident that have "cleaning/chores" job for them to clean around the home
