Gods?

So I started as a Paladin, but every time I want to pray it just says "You don't believe in God"
As far as I read I even need a rather particular one, Jure, or something like that, for Lay on Hands.
Where can I convert?

You either have to find an altar randomly generated in a dungeon or go to the Truce Ground north of Palmia to convert.

You need to find an altar of the god you want to believe in and then worship it. They are not rare and also spawn in random encounters on the map or in dungeons.

Would you also happen to know where the Backer Created god altars are? Like Horome of Moonshadow, cause they're not in truce ground.
