Best race/class?

Game just released in early access so most people here pretty much have no idea what they're doing. From my experience playing elona+ my smoothest experience in the early game has been eulderna warmage, although with that being said that may not even apply here because elona+ is a spinoff of sorts that wasnt made by the original dev (for example, a reason why warmage was good was that it boosted cast rates passively, but that doesnt appear to exist in this game which leads me to believe class passives were an elona+ thing)

one thing to point out is there's a button in the bottom right of the character creation screen that gives you extra race and class options. I'm playing a wraith sword sage which has been fun so far

Honestly?

the biggest problem/balance with elona was the 1 guild limit. That has been removed, so all the skills can be learned.

If you are playing wizard, elea is good. But you will have a very rough start. Build a bed, sleep whenever you can, you could learn magic in your dream.

That's what I've been trying to do lol. I have my hut almost ready, next i have to grind to build a bed. I have no choice but to meditate every chance I get. I get touched and I just about get folded

Any. Having a second HP bar in the form MP is just that OP. Elea is a good one, for its large mana pool. Wight is good with any class, except executioner because it already has mana body 2, making it redundant, mana body 2/3 are the same btw, both reduce ALL mana cost by half, including damage taken to your mana bar. Its really OP. Currently wight anything and executioner anything is OP.

Pure caster builds are very rough early, as the other person said.
