Is this game similar to Runescape?
Look interesting...

It's a rouge-lite. You die you lose stats and progress. In the meantime you can do whatever you want. Be a cook, or fish. Go into dungeons and mine. You can even be a pacifist and have your companions do the fighting for you. Go play music for money. Go be a prostitute. Go be a monster breeder. Be all of those things at the same time. Or just run a farm and be a devout follower of a god that benefits farmers.

This game might even have the same adventurer system as the previous were other named npcs also adventure, gain ranks, and equipment. Hunt them down and steal their rightfully earned gear, you monster. Or trade them stuff for it. Why look for the dagger of little sister slaying +5 when some dude in a cowboy hat already has it and he's willing to trade it for your putit souffle?

So yes. It's exactly like RuneScape. Make sure to buy 900 squeal of fortune spins for 720 dollars so you can even remotely stand a chance then post here once all you get is wool string. Btw, membership prices go up monthly. Starts at 14 dollar monthly sub and as a reward for being a loyal customer you get a sense pride and accomplishment by paying 1 extra dollar each month.

Appreciate the insight, looking forward to diving in!

You may want to look into The Black Grimoire: Cursebreaker instead, which is heavily inspired by Runescape.

The only similarities with Runescape is that the game is an open world adventure and has many skills for your character to partake in.

There are similarities. It's also sandboxy, grindy, and you level stats by using the skills. I'm a maxed OSRS player and loved elona, for what it's worth. I haven't gotten to try Elin yet.
