Your farming skill is, like, over 110?
Goodness gracious.
But, otherwise, it comes down to volume.
Grow as many separate things as you can. Blueberries are decent, because they're just 1 fertility apiece, but otherwise Pasture is 0.5 fertility each.
Use the watering can on all of them, since that's a 0-stamina farming exp activity.
And of course make sure you're training Farming so your potential isn't at just the base level.
Finally, skill books give EXP for skills, if you read them while you already know the skill, and give more EXP if you bless the skill book before reading it.
Then, of course, there's getting lucky and finding equipment that buffs your Farming skill.
You'd really only have to wear it while using the sickle, to boost the level of the seeds you can get.
Mushrooms grow in a single day. You get the same farming experience no matter what kind of plants you sickle (only sickling for seeds grants exp, harvesting usable products does not), so just keep spamming mushroom seeds forever. Now that the farming in caves thing is patched you will need to actually build out your plot with Farming/Gardening (ie Farmer) NPCs if you want to plant a lot of mushrooms in one spot, but the basic idea is the same.
Worshiping Kumiromi does not accelerate Farming Growth. He grants straight levels in Farming as part of his Piety bonus and weapon (the weapon bonus is non-faction, so you can pump and dump him if you need to), but otherwise you're on your own to get that high level.
You COULD just explore the world map, especially Plains tiles, and sickle everything you see especially any Pastures since they spawn in large clusters. Planting and sickling mushrooms is probably faster and definitely far more consistent, though the roaming style does have some advantages like finding random shrines and statues and not being quite as mind shatteringly boring.
The only reason I go to a world tile instead of doing it in my base is so I don't have to replace the "floor" after I plow. You at least get digging exp for digging a grass floor up, so you can work in some strength training in addition to the farming/endurance training.
If you do want to do plowing though, go to a Hills map tile (brown mountains). The ground there should be dirt, so you don't have to dig at all.
I've earned a good amount of farming level from plowing the whole bottom floor of Vernis in hope to make a Rainbow fruit farm (And got hit by the change right before my harvest duh)
