how to carry/move heavy objects?

wanting to take a gen from truce zone but well... i guess my guy doesnt even lift

You either need to bulk up enough that you can move while carrying it (if you can get to "Burdened!", even temporarily, then you can use a Scroll of Return), or you need to use a material hammer on it to change its material into something lighter.

For other things in towns that actually have a delivery box, you can just throw the really heavy furniture to move it towards it and then dump it in.

If you can pick something up and throw it to the edge of town, you can pick it up one more time and move to the world map. Die, come back and pick the item up off the world map and keep placing it down on other tiles till you get home. You can also buy a land deed, claim the area, put down a delivery box and deliver it to yourself in your new location. From what I have heard, if you de-deed the land you get the deed back, after some cooldown.

The earth god companion you can get has a no requirements for carrying gear for you so the golden knight is a good choice for starting out since she can eventually carry everything you need. You can either give her a weightlifting job/hobby so she also gains weight lifting on top of this, or give her a book if you find it to make it even better. You will have to wait until you are about 15 faith and have made enough donations of ore though.

do i have to be an earth god follower? my faith is in the goddess of wind tho

You get a penalty based on how long you were a follower if you switch, and the penalty lasts some amount of game turns + you get a weighted ball that can't be removed in your inventory until time is up. On the initial swap you also get struck with lightning which can bring your health, stanma, and mana really low.

Yes you do need to be a follower to get each reward (pet/items)
If you already got the wind god pet and 2 items you can switch and do the new god.

One of the "fun" things to do is collect god gear and pets and then swapping to your final choice at the end. If you haven't been god of wind very long its also safe to switch for a minor weight penalty. It's highly recommended to get god of earth early, then machine god for the gravity ring and shotgun, and the kitty from god of luck and move on to other gods for an end game build if you play long enough.

Some people like to roleplaying aspect of staying with one god forever though, then you just need to keep in mind that you will have to work on your own weightlifting until its high enough.

edit: if you are a demigod race you get to skip all the penalties completely. it's a good race for people who preplan a lot of god equipment.
