Best Way to Profit From a Bunch of Copper?
I've got an excess of copper from trying to level up mining, and I'm puzzling over the best use of it.

(I know there are a lot of 'get rich quick' tricks in the game I could look up if I wanted, I'm not focused on that, I just want a productive use of all this darn copper LOL.)

Look at what skills you need to level. Just getting base 10's in all skills will get your character stats up to par for mid game and to complete the story so far.

Instead of looking for profit look for turning that copper into experience. Your profit can come from a daily run to the Puppy's Cave in the worst case. Combat is free so IMHO it's the best money maker and not all races can live for 200 years to burn time on money making for months or years at a time.

So, one path you can take:

-Turn the copper into nails
-Break apart the nails into bones
-Turn the bones into dust to increase their count
-Break apart the dust into corpses (yes this will happen)

From here you have a few options
-Turn the corpses into bait, go fishing
-Use a sawmill to turn the fish into bonito flakes
-Turn the flakes into wine in a brewery barrel
-Profit

You can also use the corpses as food and break them down to get other ingredients, or turn them into fertilizer, or use them in sculpting which gives you logs when breaking them down.
Transmutation via hammering can basically give you any material type that you're after, and there's a lot of recursive loops that potentially will lead you with more items than you started.

For a bit less player effort you can just throw the ingots into a sculpting table and sell the statues you get. I think a copper statue should get you like 40-100 orens, and they are 1 ingot each.

Dang, your character dies of old age?? Oh god, that would suck LOL. Do you just lose your whole save then, basically, if your character gets too old?

Thanks for the advice~

I actually don't know if you die of old age. My dude is 38, though, and I'v passed two years building to base 40 main stats. First year was supper inefficient as this was my first character. That said, I'm getting worried playing a human race and travel around a lot less now that I'v noticed the age does in fact go up as you play. I'm just starting to learn the magic system and haven't touched alchemy or white magic with my arcane archer build, so IDK if there's a way to reduce age in those systems.

And what I meant when I said combat was free is that it doesn't drain your yellow bar. It's tempting to rest as soon as you empty that yellow bar but I try to avoid this now and do some combat/travel until I'm sleepy. I'v learned to carry around a training dummy and crafting tables, they're heavy but it helped train weight lifting and I can move around the map freely and have ways to spend yellow bar in the field leveling skills that in turn increase main stats.

If you drink a Blessed Hormone Drug, the potion that changes your gender, the bonus it gets from the blessing reverses aging a bit.
If you wanted to change your gender back, you'd just need another potion.
But, I also haven't seen any death from old age mentioned.

I mean, what would death from old age even do? You can die all the time, haha.
And, there are undead creatures and zombies anyways!

That said, I think Age is just an RP aspect, like whoever or whatever your parents were, and not like some looming time limit.

I think it was a thing in Elona too, but it wasn't game over. New symptom past the 12th would just kill you instead of adding a new one. But that's it. You would Rez like all other death types (of course not if Eternal Oath I guess)
