Treasure Map?

I just found a treasure map in a dungeon from a boss chest. And honestly, i dont have the slightest clue as what to do with it. Its just white with a red circle in the middle. Theres nothing else on this map. Is this intentional?

Go to the red circle mark location on the global map and use shovel to dig to get the treasure chest.

Since it at snow area that have less thing but your pic still have some thing that can use for find the location.

That's a tough one. It shows you where you need to "dig" on the OVERWORLD map in order to get the treasure. There is pretty much no discerning landmarks, so that one is somewhere out in the middle of nowhere in the snowy lands. You might wait for Opatos to generate new things and it might make some landmarks (which the treasure map will also generate) which could help in finding the location. You can check out the full map on the Wiki and it may give some clues.

Looking at the map, it might be west of Noyel, or West of Mifu Village, but that one is TOUGH.

You go to that exact spot on the world map and dig with a shovel. Good luck yours is quite the challenge to find.

You can also just put these in a shared box and a citizen with treasure hunter will go get it. The better bed they have the faster they'll work

I was searching so many map tiles *around* the treasure locations I found and had started digging up literally every tile on a map until I thought "I had better type treasure map into the discussion search" and I am very upset that this is how I learned the shovel could be used on the overworld.

yeah, bad luck it's one of the almost useless ones. Snow area and almost no POI in sight. Could be anywhere on the map where there is snow. Snow cost tons of time to travel through. Probably not worth the effort.

Best bet is probably to dump it in a shared chest and wait for a town NPC with treasure hunter to find it for you.

Just as a general tip, using a pair of binoculars while on the world map greatly helps to locate your maps. Just pop open a map, use the binoculars, and scan around for landmarks (if you can). On top of random loot, I've found consistent small medals in the chests you can find.
