Removing roof from room
Is there a way to remove a roof from a room? I'm trying to build a fenced in garden between two buildings, but whenever I close it off, it gets roofed. Makes it less useful for planting things, which is what I want.

your information give me idea to design a building, ty :D
i think there is no option to remove roof
enclosure using fence have no roof
combination with a wall may caused it to have roof

There is, but you have to place both a House Board and a Room Board in the fenced in area.
On the room board, select Change Group, and select a group different from the others.
I think they default to Group 0, so I just set all my unroofed areas as Group 5.

Once you've set a separate group, go to the House Board and select Edit Appearance.
Then select Roof Style as None.

i never understood what the grouping for,
so i never saw the use for room board
