There's no way to close the gap.... rotate with R, with the mouse, hover here and where..you have just to wait :-)
So not sure I followed this on how you spelled it out, but this indeed worked for me..it forced it into a corner piece. Appreciate it

finally..after days..sure i'm quite dumb but clicking right button mouse while holding the central button it's very very unusual.

It's not buggy, I'm not sure what you mean here. Walls take up an entire tile and they always occupy the "upwards" side. The bottom interior tiles of a building will be occupied by the walls, while the top outside tiles of a building will be occupied by walls.
IE If you make a 3x3 house, there will only be a 2x2 interior space to place things because the bottom tiles are occupied by walls. This isn't really an issue because the walls occlude what would be in that tile anyway.
