Identify Spell (Godly) what level needed?

i found some godly items & wanted to know what level you need of the identify spell for it to work on the godly item?

For the identify spell? Like the one YOU cast?
I dunno... mine's just 16 and that's not enough.
In the meantime, you can just take them to a mage NPC, like over at Tinker's Camp and ask them to Identify an Artifact.

I have the same spell (have a mod with unlimited re-cast) at level 22 atm & still am unable to get it to work on godly items T_T

u cant indentify god quality items. Only NPC from far what i know (my skill is 50lvl, can identify all items, except miracle and gods items) (and books (special) quality)

dang... it really does look like ill need a Mage NPC at home...

Only mention of something I could find on the wiki was from some patch note from May.

Though, I'm not sure what that really means.
Is there a separate spell called "Superior Identify" or does it just mean it's of a superior level?

could be a different tier of Spell, like (Fire Bolt & Fire Ball)

You are talking about the appraisal skill, the OP is asking about the identify spell. The spell can ID miracle items right away. I'm not sure there's a level where it can ID godly items, but it wouldn't surprise me if there is since there wouldn't really be any other reason to level it.

You need greater identify to identify godly items.

This is not available to the PC through spellbooks, but CAN be learned by having the mana battery ether disease and draining a rod of greater identification.

Ahh, I got identify skill/spell but unable to use them on godly item too. I hording weapons to sell and have to travel between town just to apparise them is terrible and thinking if I should grind my spell or not. So, I should look for greater identify instead?
