cursed shoes wont go!

I have drank uncurse potions, used dozens of scrolls and cast it as a spell over 100+times. I cannot take these dang shoes off.HELP!

you probably need a scroll of *uncurse*, maybe blessed. or need a stronger spellcaster to cast it

failing that, you could probably hammer it into a flammable material and then let it get destroyed by fire hounds. just make sure everything else in your inventory is safe first

or it is not curse, it is doom. u need blessed version of scroll, or maybe it is not even a curse, acid.

or simply use a bottle of blessed water to turn them into blessed boots breaking curse/doom and removing all negative stats on them in the same turn

If the circle is PURPLE, it's doomed rather than cursed and you will need "*uncurse*" rather than "uncurse"

I have a rod of uncursing that's not working on my doomed shield, there goes that idea. What's "doomed" do exactly? Are the effects unknown?

normally it comes with an array of negative stats and can't be unequipped once you equipped it, at least that's how it went with the few pieces i played around with so far.

Is there a vendor somewhere who can "uncurse" doomed weapons?

ah yes they are doomed silver shoes. so i need to find a blessed uncursed scroll? took me forever to even find the few normal ones i found... it resist paper hammer, and is fire proof and acid proof

If you have a normal uncurse scroll, all you need is a blessed pot of water.
Keep a look out for a Shrine [Thing], as that shrine gives you a normal pot of water.
Then just take that and offer the water to the altar of your god and it'll turn into blessed pot of water.
Finally, middle click the blessed pot of water and select "Blend" and put the uncurse scroll in the slot to turn it into a blessed version.
I think that should work to finally un-doom the shoes.

always remember, if you got a few empty bottles (either found or made by grinding potions with leaves/flowers) you can also go to noyel every couple weeks to fill at the holy well behind the church there, always gives around 4-6 blessed water to bless your equipment with etc ;)
