Weird character creation

It seems you cant make your character look like the race you choose and there are also no shoes but if you randomize there are shoes, is the character creation just bugged because its early access?

There are also NPCs ingame who look like their race.

There is in fact a second page that can only be reached through a certain bit of furniture as far as I know. it's a mirror table.

you can use said mirrior table to then save a premade load and load it into a new game file.

I made a specific save just to access the mirror table, and I load the save when I want to make a new character with a specific look and/or testing out my own sprites/edits.

Wish the character creation just allowed access to everything though since it can just be worked around anyway. There also needs a way to select skin tone other than saving a color or rerolling and praying you get what you want since even the mirror table doesn't let you do select that.
