So yeah, even though cheating is not the best option for sure, if you REALLY want to play like that (everyone has fun their own way), just find some carry weight mod. Otherwise, you will HAVE TO settle down inevitably as you gather more and more resources.
Tent is really good at nefia raiding (when upgraded to paper) - you can store all the potions, scrolls, rods etc inside and loot like 30-40 dungeons in a row without returning home, while also having a bed and a few very basic crafting stations. But as an actual BASE, sadly no.
Elona + had the dimentional storage spell and it was great. Honestly I want that spell back so bad !
It's not really, keep a futon/hammock and body pillow (optional mandatory) in your bag and hit F5 to get a good sleep while traveling without having to take extra steps.
If the paper hammer thing actually works, which I imagine requires placing everything inside the tent and then hitting it with a paper hammer after (I haven't tested this), then a tent might be useful for storing some workbenches or something for mobile crafting. Otherwise it's currently highly questionable beyond RP purposes.
Gacha junk, material kits, Eco marks and Flying Scrolls could all be used to shave off some weight from the interior furniture.
You could also dump a dining sign, an altar, a trash bin, a sun lamp or even have a mini hotspring inside the Tent so it's pretty useful as a portable base.... assuming that you have the resources to dump stacks of Flying Scrolls on all of these stuff.
