So I remember you being able to marry in Elona and being able to have kids. Is that implemented here?

No. Not at all from what I understand. No idea if its intended to be at some point or not. There is an "affinity" bar with all NPCs to determine how much they like you, but that's it.

there is a wedding ring item but not sure if there is marriage

This is from the game description: "Live your life, survive, craft, build and manage bases and towns, enjoy housing, fishing, theft, music, farming, livestock breeding, childbirth, setting up shops, tourism, and much more."
It mentions child birth. Tho it's not in the game at this moment, my guess is that it will be a feature in the future.

if i remember right marrying someone was a elona+ thing not a elona thing. so unless people mod it, marrying wont be in the game.
or at best in the sense of you gift somebody a wedding ring and they take it or refuse it based on how much they like you.
