during the mushroom festival in the farm village towards the center of the map they sell a + shadow resist lantern and one other type of lantern with +3 strength. other than that I haven't seen anything else yet.

I know there's a small lantern you can make that's, like, one more tile of effectiveness than the torch.

Also, though temporary, you can cast the Cat's Eye spell, it improves night vision and the Perception stat for a while.

you can also find a Free Lantern in the Hill Cave North West of Vernis, as well as some other Goodies, also that is where Elona Start, or you can start if you select a Cave Start when making an character.
