Taxes were a bit too much at the time (nah, I'm just greedy) so I sold fame from ~2k to ~300. "It's fine, what could go wrong".. Yeeeah, right. All the nefias were like level 5 lol. ♥♥♥♥ equipment and pushover enemies. Lesson learned, went back to grinding fame.
You can find them for sale in some shops, or craft them via the Loom using the Weaving skill.
Just by having these in your inventory they act as sacrifices for burning/shattering items, and will instead lose "charges" on the blanket while protecting your items.
You can also make your party members and pets hold them too, to protect their stuff.
The chances of getting your stuff burnt/shattered is also reduced the higher your resistance to fire/ice element is, so casting or drinking a potion of Elemental Shield can help, too.
