Woodcutter's axe

I lost my starting woodcutter's axe (item destruction I think) before constructing a tinker's table which needs logs to build. How do I get a new one or is there a way to obtain the ingredients without one?

go to your base and use ctrl+f to open search window, type 'axe' and see if you put it in a box somewhere or one of your npcs picked it up somehow

Nothing found. It was on my hotbar (it's not on the hotbar #2 either) and I noticed it missing outside of base.

yes you should be able to make a new Axe.

what you need to do is Gather any Rock, preferably Basalt, but any rock will work,and a Branch you can obtain from Berry bushes, and 2 Wines.

then make String from your wines, at a workbench, and put the Branch in a sawmill to make it into a stick.

then go to the thinker's encampment and use the Tinker's Table located there to make a new Axe.

there is also a sawmill there and a workbench from what i remember.

Oh damn literally just wished for a new one a minute ago. Thanks for the info though that is helpful.
