A bunch of questions. Maybe some spoilers
1)Where is the workshop that takes small medals, I recall a letter that says they are on a hill but I feel like I have been everywhere and have found nothing like that. The wiki is no help here
2) What does the enveloped wooden statue do? It gives weird messages when I try to put it down and I am scared and have been carrying it around.
3) About moving my town: Does it just teleport my whole tile there with building, npcs, and items?
4) Can I kick npcs out of my town? I wanna get rid of poppy namely

1) Northeast of Palmia in the snow area. You'll see a town called "The Workshop"
2) Dunno, maybe someone else can answer that.
3) Don't think you can move your town but you can get more territories.
4) I think poppy is the only one you can't exile from your land.

Cool,
Is it possible to change someone's religion?
Is it possible to teach someone a spell?

Minions will sometime automatically pray at at the altar (if you have one in your home). You could use gene on your minions to teach them new skill/spells, but the gene machine cost 75 gold bar at tricker camp

Why get rid of Poppy :(
Poppy is like the other story NPCs, and doesn't even take up a resident slot, when it comes to the resident limit.

Well, you can store Poppy in the Hearth Stone, using the Resident Board/Book, if you don't even want their Treasure Hunt/Exercise job bonuses.

Also, you can change an NPCs religion if you gift them a dojin book related to the god.
Like, "Itzpalt of Element's Dojin Book".
These can sometimes be found being sold by festival merchants during seasonal festivals held during certain months in certain towns.

These are:
Olvina - Month 3
Port Kapul - Month 6
Yowyn - Month 9
Noyel - Month 12

Just be aware that these are a little pricey, and they likely won't be identified and will require either the *Identify* spell (yes with asterisks) or a Mage NPC to "Identify an Artifact".
Though if you have residents with the Painting Job or Hobby, they can randomly produce such a book.

Also, when moving a settlement, it teleports the whole tile.
Just stand on the world map in the spot you want your base to be, and use the Relocation Deed, and it'll bring up a list of your settlements. Just pick the one you want to move there.
