Farming - question, all crops died.

In my experience, watering just seem to make them grow faster. All crops die in winter. If you utilize the delegate farming policy for your land and "fence off" your crops and place a scarecrow and farm sign, your plants will auto harvest and auto replant even after they've all died off in winter.

Watering plants only speeds up their growth.

Check your Home Board. The fertility stat is extremely important, and if that goes into the red (negatives) it causes the "The seed crumbles. (you don't harvest the product/seed)" effect.

Winter will turn all crops into seeds (kill them).

Thank you. Winter remember :) I just plant, before farming skill. But even berries are "shriveled".
