Is this game is or going to be censored compared to the original Elona?

I just feel like I have to ask seeing as Elona was...well, very "NSFW" to say the least given certain scenarios.

This is steam after all, and steam can be a right pain sometimes in what is and isn't allowed given certain content.

don't think so. Game hasn't anything graphical, yet all the weird ♥♥♥♥ is still there.

There are prostitutes you can buy service from, you can build a brothel, you can 'watch birds together' with drunk people, which is clearly sex, you can eat human flesh, mind magic still force targets to kill themselves, you go take drugs and halucinogen shrooms, you can go ganble all your money to the casino, the little girl is still taged as a 'pet', characters, including yourself can be described as underage and be target of all the horible things that can happen to everyone else...

And this is only the things that I confirmed myself, the other weird ♥♥♥♥ from elona might also be in it ( and I don't see why it wouldn't given what's already in)

NO! in fact it has MOAR. pretty sure the male PC model is anatomically correct if you take the pants off. Still have the same prostitutes, still can get women drunk and screw them, npcs still get drunk and vomit, and you can throw rotten ♥♥♥♥ at people.

It's elona but with a budget, the same hateful game that trolls you, teaches you that you can only get ahead in life if you cheese the system. I am a veteran of elona and STILL struggle with my taxes.

So yeah, still the ultimate reality simulator.

That is a relief to hear, censorship is crazy these days so knowing the game has everything intact makes me happy.

I mean.... you can technically play an 'underaged' sucubbi that do naughty things to sleeping people (without their consent obviously) to permanently steal some of their stats points, so that kinda should answer your question about the level (lack) of censorship

To be fair, that's not what it is called and it's mostly just a headcanon of everybody that it is sex. It leaves a lot to the imagination because there's no explicit text or imagery that would even indicate this. Same with parasitizing allies, which can be interpreted as the typical doujin trope of someone being attached to a person and having constantly sex with them, but that's not really what's described or happening. That's just how people interpret it. That's why you also have people interpreting it as a venom-like symbiosis instead of sex too. This also includes names like "little girl", which is not really a gender or age classification - it's just a nickname/title. That's why your father can be "the mother" and your mother can be "perverted boy", or "pet" just being another stand in for "ally". It's basically just complete nonsense, especially the supposed gender and age has zero effect on anything, it's just generated nonsense (ie. you can find "little girls" sprites but then they're 80 year old dudes with a huge beard when you talk to them), but people interpret it how they want to interpret it.

Now while games like Rimworld or Crusader Kings are contextually worse with these themes, it should be noted that this game isn't big enough and Steam could can it at any time just on the basis of some embellished stories here, especially because Elin doesn't have a strong publisher backing like Crusader Kings does where rulers can basically have harems of children or bathe in the blood of virgins. Like if you read the reviews for Crusader Kings 2, you can play a satanistic succubus-like ruler that imprisons people, feeds off on virgins, sacrifices babies, torturing or butchering entire families, causing genocides or indulging in sex orgies for months, while popping out offspring created with your son. Now for CK2 players that's just daily business, but this example is creating optics that makes it look like an unhinged porn game when it isn't. Compared to Elin, you don't even have text or animations that directly indicates any of that.

It's just roleplaying in a sandbox. So do be careful how exaggerated you present the game to easily outraged normies who are just waiting to dog-pile on drama.

If you mean its NSFW because it gives you tools to creatively turn a fantasy cute game into a degenerate dungeon simulator ? yeah i guess it can be NSFW in that way, but heres the trick - it solely becomes a NSFW game because of players actions not because the game itself is in any way censorable.

again, there is nothing graphical. Yet there is no real place to interpretation about what "watching birds" mean. be it the text the characters makes, the motion, the description of the succubus race, the 'seduce' option on sleeping characters...

It's literally the same euphemism than 'handholding'

That doesn't even make sense. The devs add the option to do it, so it was obviously intended to be done by someone.

Your analogy would only work if those pants has a "♥♥♥♥ here" section portioned out on them. Yeah, you didn't HAVE TO, but you can and is deliberately made as a feature.

Each game made is rated on what content it ships with, not what mods people stick in. That is a personal choice for each player to mod into the game. Because the engine and software is highly moddable isn't really the fault of a developer who wants an easier time developing.
