The efficiency of fire and frost in destroying items is frightening

The thrown weapons of my companion are too easily destroyed if they’re not equipped on them. Even though I’ve provided my companion with fireproof and frost-resistant blankets, they are consumed extremely quickly. The destructive power of elite fire or frost attacks is astonishing, and elite Flame Zealots are truly terrifying. Is there any good way to prevent this? I’ve seen that raising fire resistance can help counteract it, but does raising frost resistance work as well?

turn your gear 'fireproof' and 'acid proof' by mixing them with fireproof and aciproof liquid, then still carry blankets cause it can destroy items in your inventory ( at a way lower rate than items carried on you though)

As for cold, blanket seems to be the only way.

I've noticed that equipment without stars is more easily destroyed by frost, and so far, I haven't seen any starred equipment get destroyed by frost. However, thrown weapons only have one black star, so now I don't dare to let my companion use the plasma cannon—it gets destroyed too easily.

Stupid question maybe, but how do you mix those potions with equipment?

i've gotten like 2 dozen acid proof liquids so far in my run but not a single fire proof lol

For fireproof, try to change the material to something fireproof
