you need generators. the quickest way to get your first one is to go the place of the gods the truce ground. there is a generator that you can just take with you.

then just place it in your base

You can recruit or whip residents into natural power generation jobs/hobbies. A Meditation/Exercise resident can pretty quickly provide around +60 power with a decent bed and some skill (minimum of +20), and longer term can probably double that.

Truce Grounds north of Palmia. You can get a generator from there than does NOT respawn.

You can get this generator basically from the moment you have access to the world map post character creator.

Other sources include:

Get crafting to 40 and then using a hammer on generators in towns.
Wish
Random recipe from Wheel Shrine
Random Drop from chests.

There are electricity-generating objects, the generator is a mainstay, but there are other options.

The Wheel of Pain, which can be found in places like Willow, is a manual power generator, you pick it up and use it on a citizen and they'll work on it, to produce power.

Or you can just recruit citizens whose Job/Hobby is Meditation, Exercise, Personal Pleasure, or Smoking. These boost the base's "Natural Power Generation" which grants electricity generation.

Also, Demitas, who joins your city near the end of the current storyline, also has a unique Job that has Natural Power Generation.

Finally, you can reduce the energy cost of objects by obtaining and activating the policy of Energy Conservation.

The easiest without spending a penny in asap is

2 tickets geyser Olvina, put it on base pond, scum for fertilize eggs, throw into the pond, scum wait for job/hobby that have power generation, or buy wipped of love Farris (save from Nymelle lvl 2 cave), assign better bed to get better +2/+3 power generation.
