As for long term, IDK yet if the magic herbs are in the game, but if they are, one of them gives all around stat growth, including charisma. Thoses would be your best bet.
One of the best ones to get is Symbiosis, which allows you to Host an ally to ride you as if you were a mount: they will act as an additional layer of HP, attack from your position and share any healing/buffs you receive.
Negotiate levels by talking to every NPC to the cap, which you can do every few days.
Music when you play an instrument, Investing when you actually invest money in stores.
Alternately, gather berries and make them into meals: your stats gain experience from a healthy diet, so check which meals boost charisma and eat those.
that is true fore all stats by the way.
music and symbiosis are the easy charisma skills, both can be learned at tinker's camp. negotiation can be learned from the merchant's guild. investing is the last charisma skill, but it is pretty expensive to level
a lot of processed foods sold at innkeepers and bakers have eye catching (lv3 charisma). there are lv4 and lv5 foods that will level you faster, but if you want to just throw money at the problem and not think about it then there you go.
