Will Elin have a better english translation?

Hello, I loved and played a lot of Elona back in the day, but to say the english was good would be a bit of an overstatement. The game was missing or using placeholder text in a lot of places, only becoming complete/easier to read once fan translations came out.
I looked in the KS page but didn't really see any mentions. Will the team be hiring translators or making a bigger effort to have all content available in english from the get-go? Thanks :)

Elin will have a much better English translation, yes. We fully intend for Elin to be playable in Japanese, English as well as Chinese.

FWIW, I contributed to some early English translations of Oomsest, a fork of Elona, and may have also contributed to some lingual discomfort in your plays. I'm sorry about that.

You don't have to be sorry! I don't think I played that fork of the game.
I played vanilla for a long time, and had heard that stuff was straight-up missing in the english option at times, and I decided to try elona + and custom which added some of that back in.
It was never discomfort, I don't really mind the clumsy english, it even had its charm at times, but it's nice to be able to get the whole story

WOOOO~!!! There is no other Roguelike that ticks as many boxes I like as Elona did, such as complex character builds, loot, base building, etc...
