Mechanics not being recruited?

I have the facilities for 11 mechanics but none of them show up. A few got eaten by worms and just now I realised how to kill them with the fire turrets, but no mechanics shows up to build them. Anyone else had this issue? I equiped items to speed up the revival time but so far no mechanic wants to work anymore lmao

How many bots do you have in your mines in total? There can only be 50 bots in total, after which no more will spawn in regardless of how many facitilies you have.

I didn't realize you could kill those things for good, I was sticking with the mech-thumper-block suppression combo.
