ENA art influence
Ive been shifting through ENA dream BBQ content and have played the game a bit (but plan on replaying for completion because i didn't have a lot of time initially) and i've been wondering what is the main art influence and/or what work looks a lot like it?
On my play through i got a lot of LSD dream emulator and 19th century surreal art vibes from it, for example Mikalojus K. Ciurlionis's painting "Tvanas" and the work of D. Chirico. Is there an interview where the art influence is talked about or a direct mention? And are there any influences anyone else noticed?

A lot of it is Indigenous art since Joel G is from Peru. It’s really neat and cool.

Honest to god, I wouldn't be surprised if they took a hefty amount of inspiration from the Zelda CDi games. The cutscenes are strongly reminiscent of them.
Idk about an interview but the ENA wiki has a lot of sources for what characters are based off of

100% early CGI influence. I mentioned this but i got massive LSD dream emulator vibes from it, with the textures and NPCs. I got big Yumme Nikki vibes too, but probable that they both take inspo from another source, but Yumme Nikki was groundbreaking for the surreal genre, i wouldn't be surprised
my friend got me to play it- first impression of ena and it reminded me a lot of LSD too!! to the point where i was carefully avoiding bumping into walls or anything in case I blipped into another world lmao
